He possesses a smooth natural 4-beat lateral gait. He canters, knows all his lateral moves, backs readily, works a gate and crosses bridge. Very responsive and soft horse to ride. Java works on the trail or in an arena/schooling setting. Bathes easily and has some experience trailering and is well behaved for the farrier. Java is a very respectful horse but because of his sensitivity and awareness can be reactive in fearful situations. He is a great horse for the right person.
